Science on Stage France

Science on Stage France encourages French STEM teachers to exchange teaching ideas for natural science with colleagues from France and Europe.

An important aim of Science on Stage France’s activities is to promote the work of science teachers and to give French STEM teachers the possibility to exchange with teachers in other countries. Beside the exchange, Science on Stage France informs teachers about wider science research.

Science on Stage France was established in 2003 and is organised within the University of Burgundy at IUT Le Creusot

French Science on Stage festival 2016

The national Science on Stage festival 2016 in France will take place on 19 May 2016 at Le Creusot ALTO. Also international colleagues will attend: Philippe Delsate and Francis Moreau from Belgium will host scientific workshops and Liliana Fernandez from Portugal will present a further project. Take a workshop to your country: France - Portugal 2016

With 'Head in the stars' a new joint project about astronomy was started between Liliana Fernandes, teacher at Básica school in Vila Verde, Portugal, and Alexandrine Beya and Isabelle Blettery, teachers at La Charmille school in Le Creusot, France. The two French teachers presented this project at the Portuguese Science on Stage Regional Event in Braga on 20 Feburary 2016. The Portuguese colleague will now visit the national Science on Stage festival in France on 19 May 2016 at Le Creusot and present the idea to the French audience via the Science on Stage programme 'Take a workshop to your country'.
