Science on Stage Romania

Science on Stage Romania offers a platform for Romanian STEM teachers of all school levels to exchange their ideas and to share hands-on and minds-on experiences. The most important section is a STEM teacher's fair which is organised in community, open to general public.

Every year Science on Stage Romania organises a science festival, which is in the timetable of the Romanian Minister of Education in the section for extracurricular activities. The best projects of the past two years form the Romanian delegation for the European Science on Stage festival.

In between the festivals Science on Stage Romania offers workshops and training courses for Romanian primary and secondary school teachers.

Since September 2013 the brochure ‘iStage – ICT in natural science teaching’ is available in Romanian language. iStage is a European project by Science on Stage Germany, in which 22 teachers from 15 European countries came together to develop teaching materials for ICT (information and communication technologies) in biology, physics or maths education. The brochure can be downloaded as PDF or ordered for free from Corina Toma.

Romanian Science on Stage festival 2018

The Romanian Science on Stage festival took place on 20 October 2018 in Cluj-Napoca. STEM teachers from all over the country were invited to hand in their most innovative best practice teaching ideas from primary to secondary school. At the event the Romanian teacher delegation for the European Science on Stage festival 2019 in Cascais, Portugal, was chosen.
