Was Velazquez a good science student? - Festival project 2015

Diego Velázquez was one of the most famous Spanish painters.In this project students investigated his painting “Las maninas” (The maids of honor) in which the painter used various lightsources as well as mirrors to show a group of people, The students now examine using the laws of optics to determine where the light sources, mirrors and persons in the picture are actually standing.
