Science on Stage Austria
Science on Stage Austria aims to connect teachers from all levels, elementary and secondary, within a STEM teacher network.
The project is focused on enabling interdisciplinary and cross-school exchange between teachers as experts in their respective subjects.
There are some well-established professional societies in Austria. Science on Stage Austria wants to broaden the, sometimes subject-centric, view of teachers to enable a view beyond the horizon into other STEM subjects.
To promote this, Science on Stage Austria has different regional groups in Innsbruck, Graz and Vienna. Further locations are to be added. An important format of the groups is the Austrian ‘Stammtisch’, where interested teachers can exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere and perhaps try out teaching concepts and create projects.
Based on the participation in Science on Stage Festival, we would also like to support teachers in international networking and help to set up joint projects on a European level.
