Science Friction - Who codes the shortest stopping distance?

Science Friction

Overview

Friction is a very important force in everyday life and is taught in physics at both middle school and high school level. However, traditional experiments related to this topic are limited and not so much fun.

“Science Friction” turns the exploration of friction into an exciting group which involves building and fine-tuning a car, programming an Arduino microcontroller to measure instantaneous speed and stopping distance, programming a mobile phone app to send, receive and display real data on the screen.
