Science on Stage Spain: Exhibition-Competition Science in Action

The Exhibition-Competition Science in Action, a contest covering the entire territory of Latin America for scientific experiences and works that have been recently developed. It will be held on the 28th and 29th of October in Barcelona. During this competition, Science onn Stage Spain will also select its delegation for the next European festival 2024 in Finland. 

The competition is aimed at teachers, both primary and secondary school and university. It is also meant for students, researchers, scientific disseminators in the media or belonging to organisations and museums related to science, as well as to any person interested in the teaching and dissemination of science in any country in the Ibero-American geographical area.

75 finalist experiences/scientific works will be presented, grouped by 14 existing modalities: Physics Demonstrations, Mathematics Laboratory, Chemistry Demonstrations, Biology Laboratory, Geology Laboratory, Science and Technology, Sustainability, Science, Engineering and Values, Biomedicine and Health, Staging, STEAM, Science didactic materials in non-interactive and interactive support, Science outreach projects, Scientific shorts. Further, more than 2,000 people are expected to visit the event. 

The organization is in the hands of the Innpulso Network, a network of Spanish cities of Science and Innovation promoted by the Ministry of Science and Innovation of the Government of Spain.
