New NSC for Spain and Andorra

On 18, 19 and 20 September, the new National Steering Committee of Science on Stage Spain-Andorra was officially presented at Open Science Cambre, an international science fair held in Cambre, A Coruña, Spain.

Six of the eight members of our NSC were able to attend the fair, where we had our own Science on Stage stand. It was a fantastic opportunity to introduce Science on Stage Europe to teachers from different parts of Spain, explain the educational resources and opportunities offered by the network, and share the many activities it promotes to encourage innovation in STEM education.

We were especially happy to present Science on Stage Spain-Andorra as the new association representing the Science on Stage European network in Spain and Andorra. It was a very special moment for us and the beginning of an exciting new journey.

We would also like to express our special gratitude to Liliana Fernandes, who travelled from Portugal to be with us and support us during the official presentation. Having her there was a very meaningful gesture and made this special moment even more memorable for our new NSC.

Throughout the three days, we had the opportunity to talk to many teachers, answer their questions and encourage them to discover the possibilities of becoming part of the Science on Stage community. We hope this will be the starting point for many new connections, collaborations and projects with teachers across Spain and Andorra.

We are very grateful to Science on Stage Europe for the support and trust you have placed in us, and we are looking forward to working together to bring the spirit of Science on Stage to more and more teachers and students in our countries.
