Science on Stage Georgia appoints new ambassadors at national teacher workshop
On December 20–21, 2025, Science on Stage Georgia, together with the Science Education Research Center SALiS, organised a workshop for in-service and pre-service teachers at the Dedoplistskaro Research Base of Ilia State University in Georgia.
Twenty-four science teachers from various regions presented best practices and projects that had previously been showcased at national and international Science on Stage festivals. In addition, participants discussed future plans and activities of the Science on Stage Georgia network, including the organisation of regional workshops, webinars, and teacher meetings, as well as the translation of Science on Stage teaching materials into Georgian.
In recognition of their active engagement and support for the activities of Science on Stage Georgia, both pre-service and in-service teachers taking part in the workshop were awarded the title of Ambassador of Science on Stage Georgia and Ilia State University.
Georgia has been a member of Science on Stage Europe since 2016. The Science Education Research Center SALiS serves as the official representative of Science on Stage in Georgia.
