Engineering Grants – Apply for 300 Euro for your workshop

Our member country Science on Stage Germany offers grants of up to 300 € per event for workshops, seminars and other training activities that strengthen teachers’ competences in engineering education. The supported activities should involve at least 15 participants and help educators bring real‑world engineering, creative problem‑solving and design thinking into their lessons.

These activities should empower teachers to integrate engineering design processes and hands‑on experimentation into their teaching practice. As part of the international project Engineering for our Life, the grants support training that makes engineering more tangible and relevant for students across Europe.

Who is eligible for the grant?

Schools and individual STEM teachers from Science on Stage member countries. The workshop must be targeted at in‑service and/or pre‑service teachers, with content suitable for use in the school classroom.

Which costs can be covered?

The grants can cover expenses such as travel and accommodation costs for speakers, expenses for coffee breaks and material costs for the event. Please note: speaker/presenter fees cannot be reimbursed.

Is there a deadline for application?

Applications are possible as long as funding lasts and should be submitted at the latest four weeks before the planned event. You can submit applications for activities planned up until the end of 2026.
