Wanted: collaborators for a new series of STEM experiments

New project: Experiments with money

Following the success of our Food, Cooking and STEM series, we plan to develop a new series of experiments for students of all ages, this time on the topic of money.

In many countries, money notes and coins seem to become a thing of the past as payments are increasingly made with plastic cards or digital devices. But how about using these everyday objects as our experimental apparatus for illustrating scientific principles? Or could we even use our plastic cards for that purpose?

Your ideas or suggestions for experiments with money could become part of one or several booklets compiled by a team of teachers! We hope to produce a range of experiments with something suitable and interesting for all school levels. The team is open to collaborations and contributions from all interested teachers.

Browse the Food, Cooking and STEM compilations to get an idea of the format, and contact David Featonby (da.featonby@gmail.com, subject: "Science on Stage Money") or the Science on Stage team at coding@science-on-stage.eu

We are looking forward to hearing from you!
