Professional development through teacher trainings

To spread best practice teaching concepts Europe-wide, the National Steering Committees of Science on Stage organise workshops in their countries. These are often based on festival projects, festival follow-up activities and international teacher projects.

The special programme "Take a workshop to your Country" focuses on past Science on Stage festivals. At each workshop two festival projects are presented - one from the home country and another from one of the other Science on Stage countries.

With its teacher trainings "from teachers for teachers" Science on Stage contributes to the continuous professional development of educators all across Europe. These workshops are usually organised by the National Steering Committee in their countries.

This way Science on Stage contributes to the continuous professional development of educators all across Europe. The participation is for free.

In 2019, our teachers have organised over 100 workshops throughout Europe.
